AHA ACT annually celebrates industry success and achievement through a range of high-profile events and networking nights. Nearly 500 people attend the annual AHA ACT Hospitality Awards, celebrating outstanding achievements of accommodation hotels, licensed venues, and their staff. AHA ACT also hosts a range of other events including quarterly networking functions, General Managers meetings, and an annual Christmas Drinks.

Every year, the AHA ACT runs a series of leading and popular industry events.  These events include a major awards dinner called the AHA ACT Hospitality Awards – the ‘Night of Nights’ for the industry – golf days, private dinners, networking events and other member and sponsor gatherings at popular member venues across Canberra.

About The Awards

The annual AHA ACT Awards for Excellence provides a prime opportunity to showcase your venues and be proud of your achievements. For the winners, it also brings fabulous marketing, advertising and endorsement opportunities that are invaluable to your business.

All award winners are presented with a magnificent framed certificate for display in the venue as well as a winner’s logo which can be used for your hotel’s overall marketing and promotional campaign. Winners of the AHA ACT Awards for Excellence are  announced at an annual Gala Dinner .

The AHA ACT Awards for Excellence is the highlight of Territory’s hospitality calendar, bringing together hospitality industry members and associates from all corners of the Territory to celebrate our vibrant industry and recognise those venues that have achieved excellence.

Those successful in specific categories have the opportunity to compete as a finalist in the AHA National Awards.

If you wish to enter the Hospitality Industry Awards for Excellence, then you must be a full 2020 financial member of the AHA ACT at time of nomination.
