Impactful Leadership Workshop
AHA ACT and Canberra Region Tourism Leaders Forum are pleased to announce a new leadership capability initiative for members – the Impactful Leadership Workshop, taking place Wednesday 2 September.
Developed specifically for leaders in the hospitality and tourism industry, this engaging and practical workshop provides proven tools and frameworks that help leaders havea greater impact on their teams and business performance.
The Impactful Leadership Workshop is designed and delivered by Damien O’Malley from OMC Group, who has more than 10 years’ experience developing leaders in the hospitality industry.
Topics include:
- Understanding and influencing behaviour to create a positive team culture
- Building and maintaining a high-performance, high-satisfaction team environment
- Developing constructive leadership styles to deliver sustained performance
- Maximising team performance by identifying expectations, communicating expectations and providing feedback with greater clarity and impact
- Exploring situational leadership and core people approaches to maximise team performance
Outcomes for leaders:
- Greater insight into their strengths as leaders and how they can increase their impact
- Knowledge and experience in applying four proven, pragmatic tools and frameworks that can be applied immediately to increase the commitment and contribution of their team

AHA ACT members receive a member price of $490 (+GST) per person, with a 10% discount for two or more participants from the same venue, property or group.
Registrations close Friday 21 August. A minimum of 12 participants is required for the workshop to proceed.
